Steve Wozniak wants more storage on the iPads

When the Apple iPad Air was being announced, Apple co-founder Steve “Woz” Wozniak was, well, in the air. When his plane landed he took a look at the two new phablets and didn’t like what he saw. “When I finally took a look at the devices, the iPads didn’t hit my needs,” said Wozniak, who emailed his wife “Nope, I don’t want one of those.”

The iPad Air (that’s the 9.7″ model for those who haven’t caught up with the new naming scheme) is thinner and lighter, but what Woz really wanted was more storage.
As hard as it is to believe, the legendary tech guru does not have a fast Internet connection at his home and says that you don’t get one in hotels either, so he resorts to preloading all the media on his iPad. A 256GB model would have allowed him to pack every episode of The Big Bang Theory, but no such luck.
And while the size and weight reductions of the Air did impress Woz, the small iPad mini 2 with its brand new Retina display is “just a hair too large.”
Continuing on the topic of size, the Apple co-founder said he wanted an iPhone with a bigger screen and praised large-screened Androids like the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy S4 and the HTC One.
